I have just recently start my own business delivering training in public speaking by way of workshops.
I have organised a few one day workshops in Belfast and Derry and have not had as big a reponse as I would have liked. I prepared flyers and put them in shops, libraries, etc.
Can you give me any advice on more effective marketing?

As I have just started, I do not have a lot of money to pay for advertising.
I have a website - www.findyourvoice.info
Is there any way to maximise it?

Your advice and help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards, Pat Wilson

Hi Pat,

Who is your business aimed at? Is it business people? I'm presuming it is, so you have to target them - do they use the libraries and shops you've put the leaflets in? What about gyms and health clubs?

Also, I suggest networking. Get you and your business known. Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry may organise networking events:

Online, many people seem to like networking websites such as ecademy:

www.ecademy.com

With regard to maximising your website, Search Engine Optimisation may be helpful:
