I would like to open an spa (beauty, massage and fitness services). Do I need a license and where to go.

As far as I'm aware, you don't need a license to open a spa. However, for a definite answer, I suggest contacting the British International Spa Association (http://www.spaassociation.org.uk/). The Fitness Industry Association may also be of use (http://www.fia.org.uk).
