Hi, I've started up a new business producing presentation packages for conference speakers, individuals and small/medium size businesses. However, I could do with some ideas where to promote this service in order to attact more clients.

I have a few clients and have spoken to many people regarding this service but this has been very much through word-of-mouth. I have clients just starting up businesses and individuals but they all say that it is a much needed service I just need to make people aware that it exists.

HELP!! give me some ideas.

Thanks

Carlene

Hi There

As a web designer i would suggest this, but what about a website promoting your company.

What about approaching various companies PR depts etcs or agencies that specialise in administration, maybe they would be intrested in your services for thier customers or promoting it for you as part of the service they offer and them taking a percentage of small amount of comm from it?!

try the good 'ol yellow pages first of all. it's very underrated! you could also advertise in the business section of your local papers, local business magazines (speak to your local chamber of commerce)
also, have you tried building a database of suitable businesses and developing a contact list, either by telephoning them or visiting them in person. then develop a relationship with them by keeping in touch and by keeping your name/face known, one day they'll know who to call. corporate gifts always go down well too!
if i can help further, just email me: carlosmingos@hotmail.com
good luck!
