I am going to be launching an internet based business in the retail category.

Operating solely from home, as a sole trader, what insurance would you advise for me?

You will have to speak to your insurance company and inform them that you will be running a business from your home - they may have a special policy for home-based businesses. It is also advisable to inform your mortgage provider.
