I have a business idea but not sure if it would work. I was looking at taking over the whole or majority of the internet and mail order sport companies so there is just realy the main stores left. I want to cover most sports from extreme sport to multisport. Becuase it would be such a big project i thought the best way would to be to work with the indivdual retailers. I would do this by using selected retailers as my suppliers. I would sell the products through the website and catalogue on behalf of the retailer and take a cut of percentage of each product sold and they would send the prducts straight from thhere shop. I can't see me getting suppliers for over 50 sports so this seems logical way to go. Do you think it is viable and would you see any big commplications in this?

There are a multitute of on-line sports e-tailers so to take over most of them might be too ambitious. There are many strategic alliances on-line that work well but again there's no guarantee that if you're one of few on-line you'll be a success. Quite a no. of the current on-line operations are quite profitable so to finance is going to be the main obstacle. Convincing them that you'll add to their sales totals and not detract from them might be difficult also.

It's not impossible and it'll be difficult. Perhaps work initially with a few suppliers before setting out for global dominance!
