Would like help to draft a letter to local business ,for them to retail/sell our product, which is being manufactured and packed in the north east area.

A selection box (confectionery)
to retail about £3 to3.50

The aim is to promote the manufacturing base of the product.

Hi,

You really havent provided enough information to allow anyone to prepare a letter for you such as what's in the selection box - is it purely for Christmas or anytime - but there are some useful websites offering free advice.

Also, have you contacted any of the people you would write to to simply ask,
"What would you need from a manufacturer in order to consider taking a new product line?" They may say a sample; they may ask for a face to face meeting, etc.

These tips may help you determine the approach of your letter so you know whether to sell "an appointment", ie a chance to meet them, or something else.

You should be the person most passionate about your product so why not have a go at writing it yourself following some of the excellent advice provided on these links:
