Tax + Import Charges

I am planning on starting an internet business selling designer clothing and shoes for men in the uk.

I will be purchasing the items from non-EU countries such as china and Korea. Would there be an expensive IMPORT OR DUTY tax when I receive the products in the UK.

Would you be able to give me the percentage the UK customs use on your items to work out there tax.
