We have been writing an inspirational book about career change for the last few months and are now ready to take it to publishers.

Can you offer any advice on the best ways to approach this?

I'd suggest sending a sample of your work to as many relevant publishers as possible. In addition, you could also include some statistics; such as there are almost 4million small businesses in the UK, and hundreds of thousands of people are thinking of starting their own business - this might help to illustrate the potential sales of your book. It may also be worthwhile seeking the services of an agent, who should know who to contact, etc.
