Annual return

Our company was registered last year sep 2003. Since than we had no major business activity and iam a bit worried that we need to return the annual tax/vat forms to inland revenue. Do we have to declare all of our business monies? although we do not hardy have more than £500. We currently trying to start business trading from September 2004.
