help!

i need £4000 to start up my own magazine through a company already running and am completely clueless about financing!how do i apply for grants or funding? if anyone can help me then please do!!

Have you started a business plan?

Do you have any money or assets that you can put into the business to show the banks that you are serious about this too..

No bank will lend you money without putting up your own money too.

Where do you live?

There maybe schemes in your area that help people to set up in business, check out your local council's website in the business section.

If you apply for a loan from the bank and get turned down you maybe eligable for the Small firms loan gaurantee this is a government run program and they gaurantee(sp?) a percentage of the loan.

Princess trust is another one, but there is particular criteria you have to fill.
