start-up funding in manchester...

Hi,

I am looking at starting a new business in manchester. But due to a lack of security banks will not touch me or the idea.

I have contacted the princes trust but i do not feel they are the best option as one of their requirments is that i cannot work more than 16hrs p/w. I am currently working 20hrs p/w. Half of this money i am saving to put towards the business the other half is used to pay the bills. At the moment, i cannot give up the part time job as you all can imagine.

I am looking for grants/loans for the following:

- to start up the business
- employee and train staff

Any idea's would be much appriciated.

Have you tried the banks? i mean have you applied and been refused?

How much are you looking to seek?
There was a business angel who was looking to invest on here b4, have you thought about angels?
