Is it ever possible to source items that potentially no other company has??

How do people go about obtaining a uniqueness (Either by somehow stopping suppliers supplying others with the same items or any other way)??

Is this even possible? I am just looking for some kind of edge...

Hi,

I would suggest contacting small businesses that maybe design their own products etc.
Like a young fashion designer,if your looking for clothes or a college art student if your looking for paintings, maybe go along to your local college.
I design handmade greeting cards and i know that all of my designs are exclusive which is my USP (unique selling point)

Or even import from other countries.

Hope that gives you some ideas.
