Use CloudFlare.
http://cloudflare.com

All information is available on the site, it's free and it can really help with:

-Improving speed (improved my site by 54%)
-Stopping spammers and crawlers (just blocks them)
-Handles your server load if you get a load of traffic (stops your server going down)

This is something that you should be using NOW.
Why? Because it offers a free service.

There is a really great intro video on the site, and there is another video you can watch here which also gives a bit more information: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/14950364

This is quiet interesting! I'll give it a thought though sometime! ;)

All looking great until I got to the SSL part.

NOT FREE IF YOU HAVE SSL ON YOUR DOMAIN

Just a quick FYI for everyone reading this thread. Good site though, I like it. Has a ruby on rails feel to it.

For me to use this I'd have to use their pro account. Still not sure what benefit this would give me apart from having a faster site and possibly the ability to speak faster too if their videos are anything to go by.
