I am trying to put a template on a website to allow me to edit it and make it look okish but can't do it because I am thick :D

I use Joomla quite a bit at the moment althoug i'm currently developing my own CMS and ecommerce system. I've done quite a bit with Joomla including

You will need a knowledge f HTML and CSS to edit any joomla template, and if you know PHP then the possibilities are endless with is really.
