Did you see today's Observer which has named who they see as the top 500 future leaders / business people in the UK. Apparently in May they asked for people to be suggested and then udges whittled it down to 500 over 10 sectors.

They have now launched a website for these top 500 people, a social networking site where you can instantly connect with one another.

It was great to be named one of the top 500 myself for tribewanted and access to this social networking site has already proved very interesting.

I was just wondering what people's thoughts were on the concept of 'top 500'

Hi Mark,

Congrats on being named in the 500, any chance you have a link to a list of these?

Cheers,
Belinda

Congrats btw!!

I was at the event which you won, I think? With Striding Out as the host?

I think that's what you are talking about.

With regards to the Striding Out event, that you were at, this was the finals of the Make Your Mark in 60Seconds Social Enterprise Award which I won.

The Observers list was the top 500 people who the Observer believed where the future movers and shakers of the UK!

Congrats on both mark!

I was one of the exhibiters and also won the Big Leap Competition as part of Striding out.

Heather is such a great support.

I don't know if you noticed me..I was the lady with the baby!! Exhibiting card games. Shame I couldn't see when you received the accolade as there was a big pillar in my sight of vision so I had to contend with listening to the presentations.

It was a really great night. Wish I took pictures!
