you could try and do a screen shot of it and then paste it into word?

im guessing youve tried saving it for web as a jpeg then going to word and insert - from file then selecting?

good luck

Hi fiona,
I haven't used illustrator before but i would of thought that it is imcompatible with microsoft word and word doesn't know how to show your pretty chart.
What i would suggest is saving the illustrator file as an image - jpg, tiff or bmp and then you can put the image into your word document using Insert -> Picture -> From file menu option.
Hope this helps.

Try 'Export' and save as 'windows metafile .WMF'

It's not perfect (results depend on the nature of your work), but it at least is a vector and shouldn't be pixelllated.

Don't do "Save for Web" do "Export" and save it as a ".JPG". It'll be high res enough for you to just insert into the document.

Export as a TIFF image, and then go to MS Word and 'insert' this image onto the page.

The image will look good within the document on the screen, and print in exceptionally high quality also.

The print quality will be better than if you use a JPEG, which is most suited to photographs rather than graphical images on the whole.

Best Wishes
