Does anyone use this? It was recommended by Amanda from Truly Ace to me and I've signed up as a guest member for my free 14 days. I wondered if anyone had any experiences to post maybe help me decide if I want to continue past the trial period. TIA ;)

I think it is very good!! I would turn of the notification thing that lets you know people have looked at your profile, whilst you are in the trial period as it can get a little annoying when you come to open your emails.

Met some good people on there, people I class as good friends now and whom I have been on holiday with!! Good laugh!!

Ecademy works for me but doesn't for others. I think it depends on your profession, your ability to raise your profile and network online and how much you are willing to put into it.

I've invested a lot of time in it and it has paid me back many many times over.

I use Network 2 Connect which is a similar idea but I find a little cosier!

the blogs feature is nice if you have somethign to say (though they don't like you to post adverts... but somethign useful that may lead to a sale is OK!)

.... and then when you're there make sure you connect to me by looking at my profile and clicking "add to contacts"

Ecademy was a touch confusing and just seemed too big.

Ecademy does work well, but you need patience and to put quite a bit of time in to make it work.

The first few months there I just spent chatting to people and getting to know a few people - all interesting stuff but no business.

Plus of course the place is 90% web designers and life coaches, so it is hard to stand out when you are one of very many people all competing for what business there is on offer.

Cheers
