Morning all
Does anyone know whether the company (ltd) secretary can also be a sales manager, for example?

Company secretary is more of a legal responsibility, it doesn't mean they have to be sat at a desk typing. So they can do any function in the company (I think). It might be different for PLC's.

Hi Nikita
A company director often takes on the role (as long as they are not the sole director), and in very small businesses the post is sometimes held by a friend or family member. So theres no problem with a sales manager taking on the role.
If you are interested I have a pdf guide on the duties of a company secretary I can email to you. Let me know.
