I'm just about to start a business selling designer pet items .

I will be home based and am just designing my website.

General plan is to have the online shop, and do parties in the ann summers/tupperware style offering discounts to the hostess.

Long term plans are to open a boutique in the middle of england area.

The only marketing i can think of is google adwords and on canine based forums.

Can anyone come up with any other ideas???

Theres also several dog magazines and iirc even a weekly paper, might be worth a try.

Have you thought of approaching local petshops in the area and asking them if they'd stock your products?

Maybe dog training schools? Breeders?
