2001 - Shawn Taylor (STR Service Centre)

The 2001 Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Eastern) was won by Shawn Taylor and his business STR Service Centre.

With ten years experience in racing and maintaining his own motorbikes, Shawn spotted a demand for his expertise and knowledge, and in May 2000 he decided to bring his talent to a wider market and STR Service Centre and Shawn Taylor Racing began trading. In the 13 months leading to his place in the 2001 final, the business had grown rapidly to provide general servicing for cars and motorbikes, supply performance parts and race accessories, and provide a full race preparation service for cars, motorbikes and go-karts.

STR Service Centre have continued servicing and repairing cars, vans and bikes in Norwich, Norfolk, for over ten years now and can still help save their customers up to 50% on main dealer service pricing.  

STR service and repair all makes and models of cars, bikes and vans, but are proud to be specialists in Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche servicing.  In addition to carrying out MOTs, 4 wheel alignment, diagnostics and air conditioning servicing they also offer exciting skid pan / car control experiences for individuals and driver training for companies. STR also offer a range of corporate services with one-to-one on road driver training, as well as bespoke off-road events, all of which can contribute to your company driving policy.
